Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the EFTPOS terminals and related services supplied by UP 26 Pty Ltd (ABN 50 660 101 379) trading as Taxi Transact ("Taxi Transact", "we", "us"). By using our services you agree to these terms.

If you have a separate written agreement with us, that agreement applies where it differs from these terms.

Our services are for taxi drivers operating lawfully in Australia. You agree to use them only for genuine, lawful transactions and in line with any reasonable instructions we give you.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your details up to date. Please contact us straight away if you think your terminal or account has been lost, stolen or used without your permission.

Please look after any equipment we supply, report faults to us, and return it when your service ends or when we ask. Details about equipment are set out in your agreement with us.

Card payments are processed in line with the rules of the card schemes and our banking partners. An approved transaction may still be reversed or disputed under those rules.

Any fees, and how and when funds are settled to you, are as agreed with you in writing.

We may suspend or restrict the service where we reasonably believe there is a risk of fraud or loss, where these terms have been breached, or where we are required to by law. Either of us may end the service as set out in your agreement with us.

Nothing in these terms excludes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outages caused by third parties outside our reasonable control.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
